7 Journaling Tips
I love to journal and it’s been an integral part of my mental health routine since childhood. I think it’s a great way to clear your mental space and visualize your dreams. Here’s 7 Tips For Journaling:
1. Find a calm and peaceful space to start your writing.
2. Light a candle
3. Play some soft music (that doesn’t shift your focus)
4. Be gentle with yourself as you write.
5. Take your time getting through your feelings as you write them out. Not everything is going to feel good. Take breaks as needed. Stop and come back to it if you need to.
6. Be honest with yourself as you are going through each writing exercise.
7. Finish your journaling on a high note. you should always end your exercises by writing out what you are proud of accomplishing and getting through. Highlight your strengths in the end so you feel good when you’re done writing.
